If you’re having trouble paying for your ticket / haven’t received it, or have any other ticketing queries, please contact the friendly team at MOSHTIX CUSTOMER SERVICE who will be able to assist you.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A WRISTBAND?

Yes, you will need to wear your wristband within Fairgrounds at all times. Upon entry to Fairgrounds, your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband. Your wristband is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-replaceable. Your wristband is your pass in for both days – do not remove it. Your festival wristband also acts as a first-step ID check for security at Bars.

WET WEATHER POLICY

Fairgrounds is an outdoor concert event, so we play rain or shine. You may bring wet weather protection such as ponchos and raincoats however umbrellas are not permitted. If it rains, the show will go on. The show will only be abandoned if conditions are deemed dangerous. Refunds will only be available at the point of purchase, if a show is abandoned or cancelled. The decision to cancel a show will be made on show day. In the event of inclement weather patrons should check on Fairground’s Facebook page BEFORE departing for the show for messages regarding traffic, parking or wet weather arrangements.

ACCESSIBILITY

We have a policy of equal experience for all. We welcome you with accessible parking and pass outs should you need to exit and re-enter Fairgrounds. We have accessible bathroom facilities and the Showground has a path around it that is gravel and accessible to wheelchairs. If you require assistance, we encourage you to get in touch to let us know you are coming along prior to Fairgrounds. We will then provide any information required to ensure that you have a smooth festival experience.

BEING GREEN

We love the planet and we take pride in caring for our beautiful Berry location. In 2019 we are working harder than ever to care for both. We are working towards zero landfill. This year we have included a series new of green strategies. including no single use plastic on site. Our vendors use ethically sourced produce and compostable serving materials. We have a series of recycling initiatives in place and carry out full waste sorting onsite.

We ask all of you to join in and help. Put rubbish in the clearly marked bins, please bring a reusable drinking bottle to take advantage of the onsite fresh water. (If you forget yours, don’t worry, you can purchase water from our food vendors).

YOUTH TICKET GUARDIAN REGISTRATION

In order to meet the requirements of our license and new festival legislation introduced in NSW, all patrons aged 13 – 17 years entering the festival on a YOUTH ticket are required to REGISTER their guardians’ details in advance.

Adults bringing children U12 are NOT required to register.

ONE responsible adult or guardian can accompany up to FOUR persons under the age of 18.

No refunds will be processed if patrons holding YOUTH tickets arrive at the festival without an accompanying guardian.

CAN U18’s ENTER BARS OR LICENSED AREAS AT THE FESTIVAL?

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or a responsible adult at all times.

IS A RESPONSIBLE ADULT ANYONE OVER 18?

An adult is technically anyone over 18, though we strongly advise that an 18-year-old should not be solely responsible for minors within Fairgrounds. Those considering being the nominated adult for those under the age of 18 should consider the responsibility very carefully. Anyone caught supplying alcohol to minors will face police action and be evicted from Fairgrounds.

PARENT’S ROOM AND CHILD MINDING

Whether you need to change a nappy or warm up a milk bottle, Fairgrounds offers facilities for parents and carers to care for baby.

We also offer onsite child minding services on both Friday and Saturday. Managed by local award-winning service, South Coast Nannies, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your nippers will be kept happily entertained and looked after by experienced carers in a fun and safe environment at Fairgrounds. To find out more on facilities, operating times and to book a child minding time slot HERE.

LOST CHILDREN

We know that children might wander off in all the excitement, so we have a careful plan in place for you to find each other again as quickly as possible. At entry to the festival, all children ticket holders will receive a wristband that the parent/guardian must write their phone number on.

When an adult becomes aware that they have lost a child in their care, they should quickly go to the Child Minding area, located in the Little Fairgrounds area, to the right of the Main Entrance. Our friendly Fairgrounds staff will take all lost children to Child Minding, where they will be reassured and cared for by our trained staff until you come and collect them.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO FAIRGROUNDS?

  • Your ticket – most important!
  • Empty, refillable water bottle (not glass). You will find plenty of free drinking water on site. Good for your wallet, great for our planet!
  • Photo ID – carry this with you at all times if you wish to access the bars
  • A picnic rug – there are plenty of shaded, grassy areas to set up for the day and night.
  • Camping/outside chairs that can be folded down.
  • Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and swimmers – for the pool!
  • Good, sensible shoes – something mum would approve of!
  • Insect repellent, especially for the evening!

WHAT CAN’T I BRING TO FAIRGROUNDS (INC. CAMPSITES)?

  • Glass is not allowed.
  • Anything which may reasonably be considered a weapon.
  • Video cameras, audio recorders, tripods and professional DSLR cameras are not permitted. Small, non-professional cameras are encouraged.
  • We take caring for the planet and the local lands very seriously. We have a number of green initiatives in place that help minimise any impact on the environment. To help us achieve this, we request the following: No single use plastic on site. For drinking bottles, bring a refillable water bottle or buy a souvenir one at Fairgrounds. Make sure that any plastic bags or wrappers you bring are compostable.
  • Selfie sticks (just ask us and we’ll take a photo for you).
  • Animals (other than registered guide and assistance dogs).
  • Canopies or large shade structures (small 2-person shade tents are ok to bring).
  • Furniture that can’t be folded down (leave the sofa at home, but do bring your low-back camp chairs).

  • Fairgrounds is a Responsible Service of Alcohol event and we search all bags on entry. Not just for alcohol but for anything that may be considered harmful to others. Any alcohol found will be confiscated. Anyone silly enough to supply a minor with alcohol will be handed over to our friends, the Police. Just like in real life.
  • Any BYO food (exceptions for baby food, medical requirements and campers’ supplies).
