Little Fairgrounds is a designated festival within a festival, just for kids. Whilst Fairgrounds strives to inflame the passion of music lovers, it also aspires to feed the fertile minds of our little rockers.
Our Friends from the Australian Children’s Music Foundation will be on hand giving everyone the chance to make or pick up a musical instrument and learn something new.
There will be plenty of space for play on our tyre swings, trike track and playground. If you still have energy to burn, head on over to the Little Fairgrounds Sports Field and challenge your friends in one of the many field games on offer.
We’ve got some big things in stall for the Little Fairgrounds Stage this year. Get ready for a good time with live music, performers, magic shows and book readings from our very special guests. Get involved in our workshop tent, be whatever you want to be with our team of face painters, have a giant slide-ride and jump, jump, jump around on the big things to bounce on!
A silent disco with some very special DJ’s will be held in the Little Fairgrounds Marquee from 7.30pm – 10.30pm on both evenings.
Little Fairgrounds also offers a parents room and child minding services to keep everyone happily entertained. Please read below for further information.
Fairgrounds Child Minding is located inside a cosy heritage listed building on the main site, a moment’s stroll from anywhere within the Festival. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your child is in the care of our experienced team who are keeping them smiling with games and fun or simply offering a place to rest.
Friday 6 December: 4.00pm – 8.30pm
Saturday 7 December: 7.30pm – 8.00pm
All child minding sessions are 1.5 hours.
